How to enable JavaScript Welcome to the Simulation Center The Simulation Center at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is a 15,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility. We are purposed with “Advancing Excellence in Cancer Care” through the use of simulation based training, assessment, and evaluation. We aim to be the bridge to improved patient safety and quality outcomes. (more) Announcements Attention TIPS Education Center Learners: As TIPS Education Center prepares to open its doors again on June 1st 2020, we are announcing process changes for the safety of staff and employees. If you are attending the TIPS Education Center for a course, new guideline is set in place to maintain a healthy environment. All visitors will enter through the main entrance upon arrival of the 1MC building. Staff will take your temperature and issue masks at designated entrance points. When you arrive at the reception of the TIPS Education Center, you will be required to wear a mask and gloves at all times. We also enforce social distance (six feet apart) for all guests. Hand washing and gloves will be required after each break unless you decide not to participate in the break. Please remember to dress appropriately for your training. TIPS Education Center is doing its part in maintaining clean and safe areas. We want to ask you to please adhere to our guidelines so that we can continue to serve you. Lastly, we would like to thank everyone for all the support and patience. Together we can achieve our goal. If you are a MD Anderson employee with an AHA completion card due to expire, a grace period has been issued through July 31, 2020.
